Thomas Bryant Cotton was born on May 13, 1977, in Dardanelle, Arkansas. He is a sixth-generation Arkansan who was born and raised on a family farm.

Political Career

Cotton was elected to the United States Senate in 2014. He serves on the Judiciary Committee, where he is the Ranking Member for the Subcommittee on Intellectual Property.
